Meet our staff
Director: David E. is a lifetime Aggie. He got his Physical Edudcation Degree at New Mexico State and then invested 4 years in ministry grad school in Texas. He’s been the director at NMSU ever since. Married to April, the most amazing woman, wife, and mom in the world.
Phyllis M. has her B.A. & M.A. in Sociology at NMSU and an M.R.E. from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. She worked at the Christian Challenge (formerly known as "BSU") ministries of New Mexico Highlands and New Mexico State for 4 years, and is now retired.
Stanley W. is From Hodgenville Kentucky and his wife Amanda is from Santa Fe New Mexico. Stanley graduated with a B.S. in Meteorology and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Western Kentucky University in 2008. He went on to also graduate in 2014 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth Texas where he got an M.A.I.S degree. Stanley has two sons and one daughter.
Allie graduated from NMSU in May 2017 with a degree in Elementary Education.She got married May 2018 to a wonderful man. She loves traveling and meeting international students to learn about the cultures of the world. After being involved in the NMSU Christian Challenge as a student she desires to continue to invest in students and see God move on campus.
Alexandra C. graduated from NMSU in 2011 with a degree in Family & Child Science. She worked with Challenge for 2 years after graduating and then moved to South Asia to teach English and share the Gospel. Now back in NM, she is excited for the opportunity once again to make disciples, equip students, and mobilize them toward the nations!
Sean graduated from NMSU in December 2015 with a degree in Business Administration. After graduating he moved to East Asia to study language and build up the local church. Sean’s life was impacted dramatically by his time at Christian Challenge and he is excited to have the opportunity to invest in students directly. When he isn’t at Challenge, he’ll probably be at Sonic or somewhere playing board games.
Amanda V. graduated from NMSU in 2018 with a degree in Biology. After her time spent in this ministry - she is eager to invest in students like those before her. She has spent time overseas and here in new mexico, and loves hockey!
Coleton D. graduated from NMSU in May 2020 with a degree in Geography. That same weekend of graduation he married his best friend Kaylee. He was invested in during his time at Christian Challenge and is excited to invest in students himself!
