Our Mission
|
"Dying to live to impact our friends until all the peoples of the world join us in honest worship."
|
We are absolutely convinced that Jesus Christ is the only way for any person to be made right with God (John 14:6) and that a relationship with Him is the most fulfilling and important part of our lives. To that end, we want to love the people around us and the people in the nations genuinely as friends (1 Thess 2:8), to spend our time and resources so that the people of the world can know Jesus personally (Col 1:28-29), and to invite them to worship Jesus as their Savior now and forever (John 3:16).
Our Conviction
|
"More time spent with fewer people leads to a greater lasting impact for the Kingdom of God."
|
We believe that the gospel of Jesus is the power to save for anyone who would believe (Rom 1:16). We are convicted that the message of the gospel has the power to change the world - one person at a time. We know that God can use any person who is willing to make disciples wherever they are. For that reason, we choose to spend much of our time in one-to-one discipleship. As we go deep in God's word with one another, we'll become equipped to say to others around us "follow me as I follow Christ."
Our DNA

God's Glory
God's Heart for the Nations Spiritual Multiplication Personal Evangelism |
DNA is what makes up who we are as people. Our Spiritual DNA is who we are as believers. These four things make up who we are as a ministry and who we strive to be as individuals. Through one-to-one discipleship, evangelism training, summer missions efforts, our gathered worship times, and even our fun fellowships, we seek to be developed and develop others in these four areas of Christian faith.

NMSU Christian Challenge is one of the beautiful fruits of Christian cooperation. Through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention, Christian Challenge is able to minister to the campus of NMSU and many like it around our state and nation. Though our roots are in the SBC through the Cooperative Program, SBC church involvement is not a requirement for student participation in Christian Challenge.
SOUTHERN BAPTIST CONVENTION
The Southern Baptist Convention is a grouping of churches from across the USA that are committed primarily to the advancement of the Gospel through cooperative efforts. We as a ministry of SBC churches to NMSU, affirm the beliefs of the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
